Job Description SCOPE OF POSITION
The Registered Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for the performance and technical analysis of diagnostic ultrasound data. The Tech shall demonstrate excellent ultrasound scanning skills and knowledge of pathophysiology in patients from fetal to geriatric age (0-100+), as appropriate. This individual shall serve as a resource person to peers, physicians, fellows, and other staff members. Additionally, the Tech will assist in training/precepting personnel in non-invasive ultrasound procedures. The Tech will assist in evaluating various manufacturers' products and makes recommendations to the department leadership. The Tech shall also actively participate in Process Improvement as well as participate in Ultrasound teaching and outreach services as needed. The Tech will perform exams in a timely manner. The Tech shall be responsible for additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
Completion of accredited sonography program. Two years of related experience is preferred. Must demonstrate excellent scanning skills without supervision.
Valid and active ARDMS:
RDMS(AB), (OB/GYN) or (PS) and/or RVT(VT) or ARRT:
RT(S) or RT(VS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI):
RVS
AHA BLS required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
