Settlement Clerk
Job Description:
The Settlement Clerk is responsible for processing of Owner Operator weekly settlements.
This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely communication with Owner Operators, dispatch department, and terminal management regarding all weekly settlement matters.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
Process weekly Owner Operator settlements for FAF, TLS, and PUD Coordinate with other internal departments for the setup of Owner Operators Input monthly Owner Operator fuel tax chargebacks Reconcile Owner Operator monthly insurance invoices Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent Previous transportation experience a plus Ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion Ability to communicate effective both verbally and in writing Ability to use a 10 key calculator Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess a can do attitude with a will do work ethic Interpersonal skills necessary to build effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization Strong organization, prioritization, project management and consulting skill set General computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Forward Air is an Equal Opportunity employer.
