Responsibilities:
The Clyde Austin 4-H Center is currently accepting applications for an Extension Program Assistant III.
This position will work under the supervision of the Center Director and 4-H Camp Educator to assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating Clyde Austin's Environmental Education programs, develop publications for distribution to support the programs, support programs by planning and conducting district and statewide events, and develop educational programs for Extension.
This position will act as full-time aquatics director.
Duties include:
Provide leadership for a program of activities that meets the needs of all eligible clientele regardless of race, color, national origin, age, sex, disability, religion or veteran status.
Provide leadership for planning, implementing, and evaluating the environmental education program, delivering educational programs for students and teachers in grades K-12 based on Tennessee Science Standards.
Develop a strong working relationship with the school systems and local, state, and federal agencies in eastern and middle Tennessee.
Continue the development and securing of external funds via gifts, grants, contracts, and other funding sources in support of the environmental education programs, camping programs and Clyde Austin 4-H Center as a whole.
Assist the Clyde Austin Center Director and 4-H Camp Educator with curriculum development and agent training in preparation of the summer camping program.
Swimming Pool maintenance and keeping the director informed on pool status.
Assist in all maintenance and custodial duties, keeping the Center safe and attractive for all guests.
Keep current on and implement all safety procedures.
Attend Health Department Trainings pertaining to this position.
Perform other duties as assigned by the 4-H Center Director.
Minimum/Required Qualifications (include education, experience, skills & abilities, licenses & certifications):
Must have a valid Tennessee Driver's License.
Must have a high school diploma, preference will be given to those with a degree Clear background check will be required.
Ability to organize, apply sound judgment, and work independently, communicate, and collaborate effectively.
Show a clear interest in the creative art and characteristics of teaching.
Must possess and maintain CPR/Life guard Certification.
Preferred/
Qualifications:
A degree in a related field preferred:
Education, Environmental Studies, Sciences, Wildlife.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
