Earn Extra Money by mailing test letters for the U.S. Postal Service.
The U.S. Postal Service is committed to improving service to all of their customers. IBM has been hired to measure the timeliness of mail delivery nationwide. We are looking for people in your local area to assist with this study. Your role would be to mail bundles of test letters at various U.S. Postal Service collection boxes. We would provide these bundles for you.
What Would You Have to Do?
If you decide to participate in the study, your role would be to deposit test letters at USPS collection boxes and report the information you see on the Collection Box Label at the time you mailed the letters.
How Much Will I Be Paid?
There are approximately 4 bundle drops per quarter in your area.
Compensation is $15 for each drop correctly made and reported.
Being a test mail dropper is easy, no experience is necessary! However participants must meet the following criteria:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Have reliable transportation.
- You, an immediate family member, and any member of your household may not be employed by any company that delivers letters, documents, or packages.
- You, an immediate family member, and any member of your household may not be employed by or perform any service for television, radio, or news organizations.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
