Electrical Maintenance Technician RELOCATION REQUIRED

A Services Group, LLC is now considering applications for Electrical Maintenance Technician positions with a leading manufacturer of OEM and aftermarket filters. Baldwin Filters is a leading manufacturer of OEM and aftermarket filters in numerous applications around the world and is headquartered in Kearney, Nebraska.
We are seeking entry level maintenance technicians with a minimum of an Associates Degree, mechanical or electrical trade school, or equivalent level of experience in an applicable field. (Minimum of 5 years industrial, manufacturing maintenance experience) Starting wages are extremely competitive and relocation expenses will be assisted by the company. To be considered for an Electrical Maintenance Technician job you should know the following areas:
Pneumatics
Hydraulics
Electrical AC/DC-Switchgear, MCC
Basic Maintenance in PLC
Industrial Motors
Mechanical
Basic Electronics
Blueprints
Preventative Maintenance
If you are not skilled in the above areas then this is not the job for you.
Basic responsibilities include:
o Repair production equipment from basic hydraulic, pneumatic equipment to complex machinery, performing both electrical and mechanical work.
o Repair critical equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
o Inspect the equipment and diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs.
o Replace and repair damaged or worn out parts of the manufacturing equipment.
o Review electrical and hydraulic schematics operations and spare parts manuals to ascertain procedures for repairs.
o Maintain all equipment in good mechanical order and make daily mechanical repairs in all facets of manufacturing machinery.
o Maintain records of work performed on each machine. Maintain accurate records concerning preventative maintenance programs.
o Reads and interprets equipment condition reports and or repair orders and schedule and performs required repair tasks.
o Comply with guidelines of Attendance and Safety Policy.
o Participate in installation of production equipment as determined by Management.
o Perform other duties and assignments as directed by Management.
Qualifications include:
o High School Diploma or equivalent (Mechanical or Electrical trade school certificate) and a combination of 5 years of directly related training and or experience in production equipment maintenance.
o Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical, written, diagrammatic form.
o Able to interpret and express basic electrical, electronic, mechanical and hydraulic principles used in electrical and mechanical maintenance technical work assignments.
o Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and other similar maintenance equipment.
o Knowledge, understanding, and application of safety practices.
o Overtime and night shift required.
